Cass's Medical Journey Update
Healing Pause & Limited Availability
Cass is currently navigating a serious and complex medical journey and is moving into a healing pause with a very limited schedule.
She has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, a rare endocrine condition caused by a pituitary brain tumor that releases excess cortisol. Over time, high cortisol affects nearly every system in the body, leading to severe fatigue, pain, weakness, cognitive fog, immune suppression, and reduced physical stamina.
Her care has been further complicated by pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in the lungs), which require ongoing blood thinners and have delayed brain surgery to remove the tumor. While surgery is still the goal, the timeline remains uncertain due to medical risk and recovery considerations.
Because of these overlapping conditions and the intensity of treatment, Cass must significantly reduce her workload and carefully protect her energy while focusing on stabilization and healing.
Clients and community members are welcome to reach out with questions, and updates will be shared as able on social media. Cass plans to continue her daily posts and connection with you for her own mental and soul health.
